What is AI face reading?

AI face reading combines computer vision with traditional Chinese physiognomy (Mian Xiang). Facial landmark detection measures the proportions of the Three Courts and Twelve Palaces of your face, then a large language model interprets the features according to classical face reading systems such as the Mayi Xiangfa, producing a personalized reading report.

Is my photo stored or shared?

No. Your photo is used only for the analysis and is permanently deleted immediately afterwards — PuYi calls this the burn mechanism, and issues a burn certificate with an audit ID. Only structured feature numbers are kept, never the image.

Is face reading accurate?

Physiognomy is a traditional cultural practice, not a science. PuYi's readings are meant as cultural entertainment and a mirror for self-reflection. They must not be used for medical, financial or major life decisions.

Cultural fun A traditional face-reading entertainment, for reference only

PuYi is an immersive AI face reading experience built on Mian Xiang (面相) — the classical Chinese art of reading a face. Instead of an instant algorithm dump, you enter a ritual: light the incense, calm your mind, offer a photo — and watch the Twelve Palaces of your face light up one by one, each with a reading of what it traditionally governs.

How it works

Offer a photo. A clear, front-facing portrait. It is analyzed and permanently deleted immediately afterwards — never stored, never uploaded to any cloud album.
The AI reader observes. Facial landmark detection measures your Three Courts (the three horizontal bands of the face), the Five Eyes proportion, and the Twelve Palaces — the same map classical face readers have used for centuries.
Receive your scroll. A scroll-style report unfolds: overall reading, then career, wealth, love, health and fortune guidance — with the gentle, non-doomsaying voice PuYi is known for.

What the Twelve Palaces cover

Palace	Location	Traditionally governs
Life Palace	Between the brows	Overall fortune, temperament
Wealth Palace	The nose	Wealth, self-management
Career Palace	Center of the forehead	Career and achievement
Marriage Palace	Outer eye corners	Love and intimacy
…and 8 more	—	Home, health, travel, blessings…

Is it accurate?

Honestly: physiognomy is a traditional cultural practice, not a science. What PuYi can promise is a faithful, well-sourced interpretation of the classical system — measured objectively by AI, written without fear-mongering, and framed as a mirror for self-reflection rather than a verdict. All readings are for entertainment purposes only.

Privacy: the burn mechanism

Your face is sensitive biometric data, so PuYi treats your photo like paper in a fire: it exists only for the duration of the analysis, is physically deleted the moment the reading is done, and you receive a burn certificate with an audit ID. No original images are ever retained. See the Privacy Policy for details.
